HyperScout® S is a compact hyperspectral imaging system designed to bring reliable, space-proven spectral observation to small satellite platforms. Building on cosine’s HyperScout® heritage, HyperScout® S delivers high-quality VNIR hyperspectral data while fitting within the strict size, mass, and power constraints of CubeSat missions. It enables consistent Earth observation at scale, supporting applications where repeatability, coverage, and data integrity matter.

As part of the HyperScout® product family, HyperScout® S integrates advanced optics, onboard processing, and flexible operating modes into a system that fits inside a 1U CubeSat form factor. Its architecture supports efficient data handling and optional onboard processing, allowing missions to turn raw spectral measurements into usable insight, directly in orbit or on the ground, without compromising scientific performance.
